Carole Tucker Reading Room

The Carole Tucker Reading Room is named after Carole Ann (Jenson)Tucker, co-founder and first volunteer staff member here at the Research Center.  The reading room was actually phase 2 of a multi phase project to build this research library.  Phase 2 was completed in July 2004 and a ribbon cutting ceremony with Congressman Tom Osborne took place on July 10th.  Since that time the collection has grown exponentially.  What started out as 127 books and half a dozen magazines has grown to a collection with well over 10,000 items.  Some of the things you’ll find in the reading room are:

      (We are one of only two libraries in the state to hold this collection)
