Chicago & Northwestern Railway (CNW) Western 6 Train Crew Seniority Rosters

The Chicago & Northwestern Railway (CNW) opened the “coal line” on Thursday, August 17, 1984. Their initial train crew roster consisted of guys who were basically furloughed or cut off of their home terminal or working location and offered a transfer opportunity to the new Western Six seniority district working out of both South Morrill, Nebraska and Bill, Wyoming. The two rosters included on this site are the 1991 Trainman’s Roster and the 1994 Engineer’s Roster. We are constantly on the look out for additional rosters from this district so if you have one, we’d sure like to make a copy of it.
