Welcome to our bookstore! Most of the items you’ll find for sale here have come to us through donations or estate sales and will be listed as “Used” and graded appropriately. New items are purchased directly by us with the intent to resale here and will be labeled as “New”.
We do not sell incomplete books or copies that are too worn to read. Local pickup is available in the Scottsbluff area. Heavy county histories ship Media Mail and may need extra postage.
We grade used books the way dealers do. The grade is the general state of the copy. Any specific flaw is stated in that book’s description.
New. Never sold. No owner marks, stickers, or wear.
Near Fine. A clean, tight copy with only a small sign of shelf life: a light rub or a tiny corner bump. No writing, underlining, or loose pages.
Very Good. Light shelf wear. Binding is sound, pages are clean, and the book is complete. A small name or gift note, if present, is mentioned in the description.
Good. A used reading copy, complete and readable. Expect real wear: a crease, a name, a loose page, or a rubbed cover. The description says what is wrong.
Fair. Worn, stained, or shaken, but the text is complete unless the description says otherwise.
