This database contains an index of as many deaths, internments, inurnments and other “dispositions” (scattered ashes, etc.) as we’ve been able to document. How is this database different than any other list or database out on web? Good question, well, most of the lists researchers find online are compiled by people who walk cemeteries and take pictures of grave markers which in turn becomes their index. This databases however is much different, we’ve not only compiled it with grave marker information but we’ve also taken the time to cross reference it with published death notices and obituaries from many of the area newspapers, memorial cards and probate records to name a few. We’ve also worked with a couple of local cemeteries and their original records to help create this database. Cemetery walkers obviously miss all that other extra information. We’re ceratinly not claiming to have all the answers or know where everyone is but there’s a fair chance we may be able to help. Each tab below lists the counties and the cemeteries in this database.
