Nebraska Historic Highway Survey
Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., and Heritage Research, Ltd.
For the Nebraska State Historical Society and the Nebraska Department of Roads

This is the statewide survey of Nebraska’s early automobile roads. The roads covered are the Detroit–Lincoln–Denver Highway, the Lincoln Highway, the Meridian Highway, the Potash Highway, U.S. 20, and Interstate 80, about 3,500 miles. The report evaluates 921 road-related properties: bridges, markers, buildings, and other roadside structures.

It is a preservation survey, not a mile-by-mile travel guide. Researchers use it for the history of a named highway and for whether a bridge or roadside building had already been recorded by 2002.

This copy is a bound report, not a binder or a photocopy.
