The Boyd und Gregory Co. Vorwärts was a German based newspaper established in 1899 by Joseph Tagwerker.  The first weekly issue was published on Friday, August 4, 1899 in Butte, Nebraska.  The primary circulation and coverage area included Boyd, Rock, Brown, Antelope and Boone Counties in Nebraska and Gregory County, South Dakota.
